Wetland

The wetland consists of a reservoir of approximately 1,100 square meters, of irregular shape and varying depths.
It is located in a flat area, surrounded by a free lawn and flanked on one side by a row of tall trees.
The banks of the pond slope downwards with varying gradients and in some parts of the banks will be naturalised by laying swamp reed and broadleaf cattail on the ground.
The wetland, a habitat which is becoming less and less common in our areas, is thus a valuable natural environment for the settlement and passage of a large number of birds and amphibian species.
A pond like this is not only beautiful and relaxing, but also an environment of great conservation value.
