Candiolo Da Vedere (Candiolo to be Discovered)

#10beStupinigi with the Candiolo da vedere friends

On foot         Great Interest: Hystory Great Interest: Photography

Let's discover the Stupinigi Park with the friends of the Instagram page CANDIOLO DA VEDERE@candiolodavedere: the path was conceived, developed and managed by Samuel Milazzo, photos were taken by Laurence Pata.

    What you will do:

    • You will walk or cycle around the 10 most beautiful corners to discover the magic of the place.
    • Immerse yourself in the architectural and natural beauty of the park.
    • You will take beautiful photos of the Parpaglia Castle (Year XII), a protected property of the FAI, and the surrounding farmhouses.

What to expect: During the tour you will head into the countryside south-west of Turin starting from the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (The hunting residence of Stupinigi) a historic residence built for the Savoy family in the early 1700s. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Following the routes within the park you will discover the farmsteads, some dating back to the late 1400s, the Sanctuary and Parpaglia Castle. Wandering around the routes and following the signs, you will discover the most beautiful side of Stupinigi Park, revealing the pages of the rich history of the park and its inhabitants or simply admiring its natural beauty.

These are the hints of the "Candiolo da vedere" guys before setting off along the route:

    • Check the places on the map, so that you can follow the route point by point and take comfortable shoes and clothing.
    • Bring a bag in which to throw any rubbish, so as not to risk losing it in the park.
    • Bring some water.

    Acknowledgments
The project stems from the desire to redevelop the areas of the park and enhance the territory, so we would like to publicly thank the Park Authority for involving us in this wonderful adventure.
